![]() Also, he needs Roshi to train him, but he has to give him a bunch of porno mags to get him to do it, just like when they first met. Yamcha goes to spend the next three years trying to unpack what Goku just said…Īnd Krillin heads back to Master Roshi’s to look super awesome. Then he tells Bulma to have a healthy baby, immediately forgetting what Trunks said about jeopardizing his existence. Goku invites Piccolo to train with him and Gohan. ![]() At least this way they’re all on the same side.Ĭhiaotzu, on the other hand, doesn’t care about any of that crap. Put in a more cynical way, they can either train to fight the Androids, or they’ll be struggling to deal with Vegeta instead. Tien wants to see what he can do, and Krillin points out that this group needs a common foe to fight, since that’s what’s brought them all together. The others are on board as well, so this isn’t just a Saiyan thing. Vegeta threatens to kill her if she tries such a thing, and Goku is reluctant to launch a pre-emptive strike against Gero when he hasn’t even done anything yet. If it comes down to it, they can just use the Dragon Balls and ask Shenron where to find him. Gero and stop him before the Androids become a problem. Regarding the Androids, Bulma suggests that rather than fight them in three years, they could just hunt down Dr. He can’t teleport into Roshi’s empty house, because there’s no ki for him to lock in on. He can teleport to Master Roshi’s house and steal his sunglasses, but only if Master Roshi is there for him to find. The main feature of Instant Transmission is that Goku has to lock in on someone’s ki energy to use it. Instead, he took the spaceship back home, and only considered using Instant Transmission to cut off the last three hours of his trip. I suppose he’s still not very good at it, since he could have just teleported back to Earth. Goku was there all year because he wanted to learn teleportation, but it took him a very long time to get it down. Instant Transmission! Between Goku and Vegeta, we learn that the people on Yardrat have a lot of fancy techniques, even though none of them are very strong. The Yardratti were afraid of Goku when he first crashed there, but then they nursed him back to health and taught him… Goku had no idea how to operate the ship that he used, but it was set to automatically fly to Planet Yardrat, since the Ginyu Force was scheduled to conquer it after their mission on Namek. I feel like “bite the farm” would have been funnier, though. I see “buy the dust” in the subtitles, and I honestly can’t tell if that’s supposed to be a deliberate joke, or if the person writing the subtitles got the two expressions mixed up. Besides the Ginyu Force’s five, Vegeta and Cui both arrived in similar craft, although Goku wouldn’t have known where to find them. But there were plenty of other spaceships lying around on the planet. Much of the “Exploding Namek” string of episodes made a big deal about how Goku couldn’t survive in space, and how he wouldn’t be able to use Frieza’s ship or his own. Frieza’s ship was broken and his own ship was too far away to reach, but luckily for Goku there were several spacepods near Friezas ship: the ones the Ginyu Force had arrived in. How’d he escape Planet Namek? Turns out it wasn’t that complicated. So now that Trunks has given his prophetic warning and vanished, the big question is what Goku’s been up to this whole time he’s been away.
